Crow River Winery is seeking a Hospitality Manager to join the team. The ideal candidate has the leadership and food/hospitality industry experience to lead by example, ensuring every CRW guest receives exceptional service and hospitality. Working directly with kitchen and tasting room teams, the Hospitality Manager trains and works alongside staff to provide extraordinary customer service, great-tasting food, and memorable experiences that highlight our wines, ciders, cooking products, and events.
Job Responsibilities

Manage and oversee recruitment and development of kitchen and tasting room; hire, train, empower, coach, and hold accountable, as appropriate

Develop, improve, and maintain bistro menu offerings for a memorable dining experience that highlights our wines and ciders

Work with event staff to develop and deliver high-quality catering menu items

Establish and maintain processes and procedures that lead to a consistent, positive guest experience

Control food cost while maximizing revenue

Lead, train, and hold staff accountable for safely serving food and beverages, including but not limited to appropriate sanitation practices and management of equipment maintenance

Resolve customer issues, as appropriate, to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction

Purchase beverage, food, and related products and supplies for the kitchen, tasting room, and bar areas

Continually seek to identify opportunities to provide memorable guest experiences and high levels of customer service

Schedule kitchen, tasting room, and bar staff levels consistent with the ebb and flow of business volume

Greet guests positively and professionally, treating each person as an individual

Manage point of sale and related systems for positive staff and guest experiences

Support cash management and accounting processes

Ensure tasting room environment maximizes guest experience and product sales

Collaborate with management peers and ownership to ensure event, facility, and operational success as well as compliance with Crow River Winery policies and procedures

Provide back-up coverage as needed to support front of house, back of house, and event sales
Job Skills & Qualifications

Exceptional customer service skills with a guest-focused mindset

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; attention to detail

Ability to maintain a positive working environment and foster teamwork among staff members

Experience developing great menu items

Knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits

Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and some holidays

Experience in administrating Toast or similar Point of Sales system preferred

Demonstrated leadership experience in food or beverage service

Must be able to multi-task and abide by deadlines
Required

Available and willing to work a variable schedule, including weeknights and weekends

Ability to stand on one’s feet for extended periods of time

Ability to lift or carry 30 pounds.

High School Diploma
-
4+ years related hospitality experience
-
2+ years related leadership experience
-
1+ years related kitchen leadership experience
-
Valid Driver’s License
-
Strong proficiency using MS Word, and Excel
-
Perform work in-person/onsite at Crow River Winery, Hutchinson, MN
