EVENT & PRODUCT SALES
Crow River Winery is hiring for an event and product sales position. Our ideal team member will serve as the “first point of contact” of Crow River Winery events and can connect with prospective customers, generate sales, is personable, organized, and driven to grow the business. To hit the ground running, you’ll need to make quality connections and build relationships with prospects and clients.

Job Responsibilities
Event Sales
-
Prospect, develop proposals, and close event sales to meet and exceed monthly goals numbers
-
Connect quickly and effectively with clients to develop rapport in all interactions
-
Be attentive and take quick action with client inquiries via email, phone, and in-person
-
Provide event space tours that showcase CRW services and products
-
Use our project management platform to track event details, payments, and client communication
-
Provide weekly, monthly, and yearly reporting and evaluation of sales leads and goal progress
-
Collaborate in forming marketing strategies and support their execution
-
Meet with and communicate directly with the client throughout the planning process – ensuring all parties understand relevant information and details
-
Clearly and accurately communicate event details with management and Crow River Winery staff
-
Perform post-event tasks promptly, such as meeting with clients to ensure satisfaction & rebooking, reviewing invoices and billing, documenting issues and resolutions

Be present at events to greet clients and ensure proper event execution

Work hand in hand with the Crow River Winery team to drive financial results

Product Sales
-
Build and maintain relationships with wholesale customers

Maintain regular communication via email, phone, and in-person visits

Introduce opportunities to retail new and additional CRW products via education and samples
-
Collaborate in planning marketing strategies and support the execution of those plans
-
Become a product expert in order to be able to educate customers and prospects
Job Skills & Qualifications:

Experience with hospitality, sales, and customer service skills

Have the innate ability to be self-motivated while working effectively with your team

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Strong attention to detail

Genuine passion for delivering a memorable guest experience

Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while remaining calm under pressure

Extremely Organized and Efficient

Flexible in approach, can readily adapt to business and team needs and changes

Demonstrated ability to interface and maintain effective relationships with all levels of employees in a team-oriented environment

Available and willing to work a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends

Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Professional appearance and personal demeanor

Some post high school education/training
-
1 year experience in sales
-
Valid Driver’s License
-
Strong proficiency using MS Word and Excel
-
Perform work in-person/onsite (Hutchinson, MN 55350) – ability to reliably provide your own transportation and/or planning to relocate before starting work
